Question about RCA DRC246N DVD Player
I am not getting any power on my RCA DRC246N dvd player. I checked the fuse and that was ok. Any suggestions?
Upon visible inspection, C411 in power supply was swollen. 1000 microfarad 10Volt. Replaced with slightly larger 1000 microfard 25 volt I had on another old board. Powered on ........ works fine.

I had this problem after only a few months of use! There were some bad capacitors on the power supply board. Replacing them fixed the player. They used cheap electrolytic capacitors on this unit; check them all while you have it open.
