You dont need the actual installation disc, only the driver and eventall software provided by the manufacturer.

Please let us know the exact type of equipment you need that for, and we will send you a link where you can download the software/driver/etc

I'm trying to install my color ink for my canon ip1700 printer but i don't know how
Just run the install disk. If you do not have the disk download the driver (and manual) from you CANON support web site below:   If you have Xp.Hook up the printer, turn it on.  GO to  START- CONTROL PANEL - PRINTERS AND FAXS - ADD A PRINTER. When it asks if you have the disk sayno. Tell it where you have put the driver file,( I usually put mine straight on the hard drive c:) when asked.

I have a Lexmark 5470 printer. I can't install the printer because the disc won't work. I just spins around and the computer doesn't recognize that it is in the drive. I have tried it on other computers...
If you do not have the disk you download software from Internet, follow instructions below,

Click here:Official Lexmark Drivers and Software

A web page will open, follow instructions, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
Afterdownloading,findthefile,doubleclick on the file, if you get introubles ,thenfollowinstructionsbelowto reset and reinstall:


  • Unplug printer USB.
  • Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
  • Download driver from website and run the file.
  • Follow driver installation wizard.
  • Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.
Note some printer does not work on Vista.

Epson dx4200 all in one printer.
just use the disk that came with the printer go through install again, it will print a page out then make u put it in your scanner this will sort allignment. PLEASE SEND ME A COPY OF DISK IVE LOST MINE AND AM TRYING TO INSTALL ON VISTA. HELP!!
