Question about AKG K 240 Studio Professional Headphones
Guitar center or sam ash can get them for you special order. I got mine from guitar center about a year ago and Im already due for a replacement.. about 20 bucks, you can get them coiled or straight
also I had the same problem with the wire slipping down exposing the inner wires. I would just reach down lower in the cord and slide the outer cover back up...

Try radio shack.
you could also take an 1/8 to 1/8 4' cable which will run about 10 dollars or close to it and cut one end off then splice it back in to your headphones.

the red, yellow and white wires that are inside the cord are exposed about an inch long right at the base of the cord where you would plug it into the headphones. They still work fine, but is there a way to fix this? Or should I just use some electrical tape?
Same problem with the K271's.. which I'm guessing uses the same chord. Happened very early on
I use my boyfriend's and the same thing happened to me. I don't know if I can just buy the chord or if I just buy him a new set.
