Hi. This is the common problem in all the PPC's as it gets older. just do SOft reset. Press the button with the help of your styllus next to the Ear phone & mic jack.
At this time it will ask you to allign the screen alling it firmly with the taps & you'll proceed.
On this problem, I suggest you bring you pda to a service center. Any shops will do as long as the technician is aware about the hardware. But better, if you can contact the exclusive service center for imate in your area.
Dear Shaya,
This problem related with configaration cnectionctions in your phone, so please let me know which network SIM yor using for further solutions, it is simple problem onece you know configaration.
Unfortunately, due to network configurations, the i-mate k-jam will not work with Verizon Wireless. Accepted networks are those which use GSM systems. These include Suncom, AT&T / Cingular, US Cellular, and T-Mobile.
There is no need to have any additional programs installed on the device in order to work with a network, however each network has specific device settings in order to use the internet feature.
Hello Elan,
You will need to have the device dissasembled and checked for a loose connector to the mainboard. Those 2 components are linked to the mainboard via a ribbon like cable that may not be making a perfect electrical contact. It'a a cheap repair, you don't have to worry, other than that if the device is still in warranty it will be made for free.
