I forgot my password on my ipod touch

"To do this, hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons down for at least 10 seconds, until the iPod touch shuts off and begins to restart. You can release the buttons once you see the Apple logo appear."

How can I fix my Ipod touch

Sounds like the kind of thing one might expect from liquid damage. Probably the logic board either way. Take it to the Apple Store for replacement, if you buy new make sure to ask about the Recycling Program they have.

Ipod touch volume control stuck

Just press and hold the lock button down until there's a slider that says "slide to turn off" (or similar). this will force your ipod to reboot. Once it shuts down, push and hold the lock button again until you see the apple logo. that should fix it.

Help please tell how to exit recovery mode

How to Fix an iPod Touch Stuck in Recovery Mode With a Free Program
An iPod Touch's "Recovery Mode" is for alleviating major operating system issues. Recovery Mode rolls back your iPod's operating system, stripping problematic updates and downloads from the unit. The goal of this total system recovery is to revert the iPod to a stable, usable version. Before you use Recovery Mode, exhaust other troubleshooting methods. In some cases, Recovery Mode is triggered automatically after a failed system update or system restore. When it goes into Recovery Mode automatically, you cannot use your iPod until you complete the recovery process. You can get your iPod Touch out of Recovery Mode using Apple's free iTunes software.

Things You'll Need
-Apple iTunes-USB cable

Instructions
1 Turn on your computer and open iTunes. If you are prompted to download any new iTunes updates, install the updates before proceeding.
2 Plug an iPod USB cable into your computer. Do not plug the other end into your iPod Touch yet.
3 Turn off your iPod Touch. If the iPod Touch is already shut down, skip this step.
4 Press and hold the Home button on your iPod Touch, and plug the other end of the USB cable into your iPod Touch.
5 Release the Home button after you see a white USB icon and the iTunes logo appear on your iPod Touch's screen. At this time, a pop-up should appear on your computer screen, explaining that the software has detected an iPod in Recovery Mode.
6 Click "OK."
7 Click on the iPod Touch from underneath the "Devices" heading on the left-hand side of your screen.
8 Click on the "Home" tab, and then click "Restore." Once it's restored, your iPod Touch goes out of Recovery Mode and you can start using it again. The restoration process takes a few minutes. Do not disconnect your iPod Touch until a prompt appears, letting you know the system restored successfully.

Hi how can i fix my ipod and it says ipod disabled and connect to itunes and when i connect it to my computer it says i cant restore it

Have you tried a hard-reset of the iPod Touch by pressing and holding both the top and home buttons down until the unit shuts-off?

While holding the buttons down, ignore the prompt to slide to turn-off -- just keep holding both buttons until the unit goes black. After that, release the buttons and press them both briefly again to start up.

Hopefully this will allow the iPod Touch to be restored.

Ipod touch randomly shuts down

Hello. This is actually a very common problem with the 1st Generation 16GB Touch. It is recommended you do a system restore before these steps, but not necessary.

Step 1.
Go into Settings, and click on the General Tab
Step 2.
Set Auto-Lock to Never

This should keep it from shutting down randomly. If this does not help the problem then it is an issue with hardware.

I Touch won't connect to wireless router

first off, make sure you have wifi enabled in your settings. if that doesnt work hold the home and sleep buttons untill your ipod shuts off and turn it back on. sometimes i do this when something is glitching on my ipod. check to make sure your your pass word is correct too.

p.s. if you are really desperate, hold your home andsleep button untill your ipod shuts off, then continue to hold untill your ipod reboots. once it starts to turn on, just keep holding down the home button and NOT the sleep button anymore. a screen should pop telling you to connect to itunes. your computer will detect it in recovery mode and you can continue to restore on your computer. you can restore it that way or just do it by hitting the restore button in itunes :)
