DVD to Zuine (by 3 users)

Zune only supports the follow video formats:
Windows Media Video (.wmv)
MPEG4 video (m4v, .mp4, or .mov)
H.264 video (.m4v, .mp4, or .mov)
First ,you need dvd converter to help you to convert your movies to to Zune WMV, MP4, MPEG4 video files.
I recommend you to use iskysoft dvd ripper.iSkysoft DVD Ripper can rip DVD to a wide variety of video files and convert DVD audio to different audio files. You can download from

And then,You need the zune softeare to help you transfer wmv video to zune player. If you don't know
how to do that, follow these steps
1. install zune software, you can download it from here for free
http://www.zune.net
2. plug in your zune player to computer
3. drag the wmv video to zune library
4. click "start sync" to sync your zune. OK.

To convert dvd to zune with high quality I use Daniusoft DVD to Zune Converter. It never frustrate me.

Zune reads mp4, wmv, so you must convert your DVD to those formats, I always use aimersoft zune convertr suite, it can easily convert dvd video to zune with high quality, that's really nice, you can free download it from its official site:

After conversion finished. Run Zune software, connect your Zune device to computer via USB cable, then the Zune software will detect your Zune player. Drag the converted video and picture to Zune software and click “Start to sync”, then your video and picture will be transferred to Zune. Use iSkysoft dvd ripper.
It can convert dvd to zune format.

just google "Zune video converter" to get ahold of a converter... the first link is usually fine...

After you get the conversion you just toss the converted file into a folder monitored by the Zune software and it will pick it up automatically. From there you right click the name of the file in the Zune software and click "transfer to zune"
