There is a paper jam below the sliding lid -

There is a paper jam below the sliding lid on the last set of rollers - only visable only where the paper comes out. It will not pull out. Is there a way to reach that area?

I suggest opening the right cover to remove paper jammed internally. There is a lengthy document at Canon support for your model: (you need to input your problem into the search box - ie. "ERROR LCD: Paper Jam" and click Search button).

Paper jammed light flashing but no jammed paper

Switch off the printer at the power wall socket and back on again and press the printer on button (if it has one). This resets the printer so it can go through it's normal start up routine and detect any remaining faults.

If the light is still flashing then open up the printer lid to access the paper feed roller and manually turn the roller to check for any small pieces of paper causing the fault.

Close the lid and then fully remove and reinsert the paper tray to reset all the paper sensors.

Under one year old pixma mp150 all in one/ changed ink cartridges/error code E2 / saying no paper ????

I have had a MP 150 Cannon Printer with a E3 paper jam code..when NO visable paper jam is present ! Your No paper problem may be as a result of similar issue due to a small piece of paper stuck in the roller assembly out of sight. TRY this, Turn printer off wait (10 seconds) or more then turn printer back ON and listen for roller assembly to turn the ROLLERS and then FORCE FEED
a sheet of paper into rollers until it PULLS paper through and SEE if any scrap of paper comes out with the sheet !! If this works you should see that it clears the code. and resets your printer.
Let me know if this works. Phil at [email protected]

GOOD LUCK !

Canon MP 510 paper jam

I had the same problem and found a small coin in the back feeder. Remove the back coverplate and tip the machine onto its back and give it a good shake. You might be surprised at what falls out.

Lift lid to continue printing

OK, Based on the information provided I think I can offer a solution. They are getting open and close top cover and the unit will print a few pages and stop. I will assume the machine is indicating paper jam (although not confirmed) and no paper is in the machine. A maint. kit was recently installed.
The problem is likely the separation clutch.
The clutch is located in the paper tray (tray 2 and tray 3 if installed) just to the right of the roller.
Heres the test:
Remove the roller and the clutch. The clutch will slide off the shaft after the roller is removed.
reinstall the roller.
Run a paper path test for the tray you removed the clutch from or just print something multi pages.
If the machine prints more then the few pages at a time without giving the error we have solved the problem.
You need a Sep. Clutch.

NOW PAY ATTENTION:
You may get a jam error printing without the clutch installed BUT there will be paper in the printer. This is because without the clutch the machine may feed more than one sheet at a time. but if the paper is making it into the machine the clutch is the issue.
Hope this helps

Paper feeder jams and crinkles the paper up

there is a set of stripper fingers that kiss the fuser roller and paper is jamming up aginst that area

FIX

Open the fuser section door and front door Look at the fuser roller from exit and front door If there is a wiper pad (slides in on a rod from the side of the machine) remove it and put some fuser oil on it

go to area where you find the paper folding up and observe the stripper fingers for any blockage

If there is some bits of toner on the fingers clean them with a q tip and alcohol

take your finger ( make sure machine has cooled and you have unplugged from wall) and press up against the stripper fingers to se if there is movement (some coiers have a solenoid that activates the striper fingers)

The fuser oil hels keep the fuser roller clean and keeps paper from sticking on rollers

Try the copier if this does not fix i believe you have a problem with a solenoid which will require a sevice call

If you want to observe the paper coming through the fuser rollers and seeing if the fingers activate
ou can trip the safety swithes in the doors and exits and observe

Best of luck to you

Canon Imageclass D880 all-in-one

The area you are describing is the fuser exit rollers. Most likely the upper and lower rollers are worn out and the paper jammed there. You will need a technician with the background on repairing this machine to fix it. This is a major repair.
