if your country does not have analog television you may not have options for a clear signal, you need an antena outside the house if you do not have a clear line of sight to the tv transmitter for analog television.
Also it may be a good idea to do a channel search from within the television menue.
see if there is a local/distant selector on your unit. It will make it so your radio will only let you find very strong stations, also check your antenna connection to make sure it is pushed all the way into the connector and is clean of corrosion or anything that could keep it from making good contact inside of the connection, you can use steel wool or scotchbrite pads on the surfaces to ensure a good connection.
