Question about Honeywell Programmable Thermostat Heater
Model TH8000: I can not adjust the heat above 68 F. I can get into the user setup codes but I dont know which one is for the temp max minimum setting there are ,13 different codes: 120, 130, 140,150,160, 320, 330,500,510, 520,540, 640, 670.
To enter the you press the SYSTEM button (HEAT, OFF, COOL) Then press the center button at the bottom ( no label ), for 10 seconds to enter the setup mode. Is this the correct place to find what I am looking for ?
You need to get into the installer setup. Download the installer manual from Honeywell or an on-line vendor and it has the installer codes to alter the maximum heat setting. Press the system button and then buttons 2 & 4 at the same time for 5 sec to enter the installer mode. I believe the code is 0600 and then you enter the max temp for heat setting. Press done and your done!. Try this link for the installers manual http://www.alpinehomeair.com/related/Honeywell_VisionPro_8000_%20Install_%20Instructions.pdf

The thermostat has a function called "Adaptive Intelligent Recovery".
This feature allows the thermostat to learn how long the furnace and air conditioner take to reach programmed temperature settings, so the temperature is reached at the time you set. For example: Set the Wake time to 6 am, and the temperature to 70°. The heat will come on before 6 am, so the temperature is 70° by the time you wake at 6.
You can turn off this function. Download the installation guide at the next link:
and look for funcion number 0530 Adaptive Intelligent Recovery. In this manual you also find the way to do a reset with the function number 0710.
I hope this solves your problem.
