Question about Sharp UX B700 Plain Paper Inkjet Fax
The machine was moved and when plugged back in it displays "sharp", you can hear the carriage move into the print position and then the display say "wait a moment" ....carriage moves again, display goes back to "sharp" It won't do anything else regardless of what button you hit, it just cycles between these two displays. There is nothing jammed in the machine and it has been unplugged several times to try to get it to reset itself. I believe it's junk, perhaps the voltage in the new warehouse isn't stable. There was no surge protector in line when it was plugged in at the new location.
Check carriage home postion sensor(often in your left hand near left end of the machine-check for a broken connector and reconnect it-check for droped object or dirty in the sensor.
