Problem with motorola v3xx

My phone turns on but my keypad is not working.I can get incoming calls but can't dial or speed dial out.

Hi sir, your keypad flex cable sounds like the issue. It is a common issue with razr. Problem is caused by regular wear and tear.

erin - you need to replaced the flexcable and also reflash the phone.

ICS0924 - take the phone to a tech and have the firmware on the phone reflash.

janicek - the firmware need to be reflash so take the phone to a mobile service center to have that done.

Keypad will not work


Take the phone to a mobile service center and ahve them replaced the old flexcable with a new one.

KEYPAD???


Usually this means that you need to take it to a repair shop to have the keypad replaced but truthfuly it would be cheaper just to get a new phone. Hope this helps =)

Sounds like the same problem as my phone. Thought it was moisture and dried out the phone and it came good.It stopped again and they replaced the keypad circuit board but its happened again . Looks like its back in for repair

Keypad doesn't seems to work - seems locked - gets incoming calls

under tools there is a record option. erase all things that have been recorded. the button on the top screen on the right hand side allows you to record phone calls. You have probably been hitting it on accident and recording calls and such. Let me know if this works.

Some buttons on my keypad stopped working!


you need to take the phone and have the flexcable replaced on the phone.
