Question about Apple iPod nano

Helppppppp everytime i try to install my ipod to my pc it says that i have to insert a disk and i dont have one so i need to know how to install it on my pc

You can also download the software that you need from the internet just try typing it in on the google website =]

I get an empty disk

before copying the videos into ur i pod u have to convert the videos or songs into the format which ur ipod supports, if ur videos or songs in the same format and u continue having this problem just format ur phone and check again

it seems that your unit are having a file corrupted issue.

you can fix it by trying to reformat your Ipod.

My 30g ipod is stuck in the restore mode. i follow the instructions on how to restore it, and everytime i plug it into the computer, it says it needs to be restored. how do i get it out of the restore...

Try this out: And let me know the status

  1. Before placing the iPod into disk mode, you should verify that it is charged.
  2. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Set it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  3. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for at least 6 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the Menu and Select buttons and immediately press and hold the Select and the Play/Pause buttons until the Disk Mode screen appears.
  5. Connect the iPod to your computer; the screen on the iPod will change and say "Do not disconnect"
Then try restoring the ipod using Itunes...

If u don't have itunes installed then the ipod should have disc use enabled automatically when you plug it in to the computer. Are you running windows xp? Perhaps connecting usb devices is blocked by admin aswell?
