Problem with recording

Please review and let me know if you have any practical advise or a solution.
Camcoders: AG-DVC7
Issue: I turn a main switch to ON. Everything seems to be normal. See see all objects in videofinder, I can zoom in and zoom out. However, when I press a red button to start recording, it temporarily turns off the camcoder. In a short period of time it turns on again. I press a red button to start recording. However, the problem repeats itself. I noticed that recording is possible at the beginning of filming session. However, after several Pauses, it works worse and worse.
