Question about Whirlpool GH9115XE 850 Watts Convection / Microwave Oven
On top of this oven, I find two thread holes for mounting. But this is a heavy one, it must have another mounting accessory to support the weight.
I took it off from its mounting location about 5 years ago, now I just don't know exactly how to put it back.
Could you give me some instruction?
You may be looking for this flat head 1/4 x 28 threaded bolt that is
about 4" long. The tip of the bolt does not have threads, which aids in
locating the threaded holes in the top of the microwave:
GE # WB01X10180 (or AP3205964
or 942461 as listed on some repair parts sites)
or a set of three
GE # WB01X10125 (or AP3185225
or 910236 as listed on some repair parts sites)

When you removed it years ago, did you keep the rear mounting plate? It was affixed to the wall behind the microwave. It needs to be screwed / lagged / or togglebolted to the wall first, then the bottom of the microwave sets onto it and is swung up into the opening and your heavy screws / bolts come down from inside the upper cabinet and into the microwave. If you have all the parts but not the instructions, you will have to do some careful measuring to determine exactly where the holes need to be placed for the screws / bolts coming down from the upper cabinet. If you no longer have the mounting plate, you may still be able to get it through a Appliance Dealer.

I suppose it could be done by mounting an angle to the wall at the proper height, then putting the microwave in place, I would be afraid of the thing falling off and landing on the stove personally. The mounting plate should be available yet, it would probably run 50 to 60 dollars from what I can tell. I would try to do it with the proper mounting plate and if its no longer available then do it another way if you can. ... Hope this helps and Good Luck
Sorry it took so long to answer your latest question, here is what the plate looks like, the part you want is circled.

Thank you very very much, It is very helpful.
I just don't know I still have the mounting plate or not.
What if I don't have, can I get some steel angles or Angles plate from Home Depot to hold the Microwave oven?
Where can I get the picture or sketch of the original mounting plate and accessories? It possibly can help my best half to locate it in the basement, since I won't be home for another month.
I am highly appreciated your help.
Thank you so much. I think i can get the parts from Sears part center to install it. I am really appreciated your time effort to help me out. Thank you again
