Question about PNY Verto GeForce FX 5200, Graphic Card

1 Answer

Blank Monitor After installing a GeForce FX5200 in my machine, the monitor won't display anything. It doesn't matter whether I plug the monitor into the new graphics card connector or into the old, original connector. I boot up the computer and, voila, a blank screen. My machine specs seem to match the requirements on the FX5200 box. What can I do?

Where can I find a driver/adapter for Advent X19W LCD Monitor?

Goto device manager , uninstall the card. go into control panel and check that the driver is uninstalled from the programs list. Swich of the pc for a minute or two then reboot Windows updares does not download drivers for graphics cards so will not install or reinstall the driver that is causing the issue, 307? Users forget to uninstall from program manger in control panel which is why the card keeps reinstalling with the undesired driver.

GeForce FX5200 into Sony Vaio Desktop - Disable onboard graphics

Check BIOS settings but first change the supervisor password and log in as administrator. In BIOS there is a option like IGP-PCI and vice-versa. Set it to begin with PCI, save and continue. This what generally what needs to be done when you are not using your inbuilt/integrated graphics thats incorporated in the MB.......sodeep

Try going into the Display properties in the control panel or right click on the desktop and go to properties. Go to the settings tab and choose advanced, you should then have an Nvidia tab. Go to that and see which device is showing for the default display, you should see your computer monitor and you tv as choices.

I have a Dell Dimensions 8300 with a GeForce FX5200 graphics card (version C.14.10.4502).It has D-Sub and DV1 outputs. The monitor is connected to the D-Sub output. However anything connected to the DV1...

in windows, right click on your desktop, select properties, then settings and then click on the 2nd monitor, make sure the 2nd monitor is attached to the dvi, when the computer was turned on. so the 2nd monitor will appear in the settings.

this will give image from the dvi output. to get objects to the 2nd monitor drag them out of a corner of the first screen. debending on what side the monitor is at.
Let me know if you need anything elsed.

Dell monitor power down mode with Geforce GFX card install

I think maybe some how the main graphics for your pc has possibly switched to onboard. Try getting into bios F2 or DEl on boot up and highlight Advanced ChipsetFeatures and press Enter. In here make sure your AGP card is set as the Primary graphics controller. When done press ESC and 'Y' to save settings, then re-boot pc. Hope this gets you running again.
