I've had my Microsoft wireless notebook 3000 for two years. Very dependable, light, long battery life, no problems. But it stopped working 5 days ago after it fell from my computer desk. Pressed reset button, did not help. I was ready to buy another since it was sooo good to me. Yesterday found another reset button next to bar code on bottom of mouse. Pressed it and now its working again. Good Luck. Using Mac OS. Lost instruction manual.

These are built very cheaply even though you pay good money for them they are designed and built at a minimal cost. I had problems with mine and finally threw it away and I am an electronics technician but it wasn't worth fixing. For what it is worth I have been using an MI wireless mouse for over a year now and it has been working fine other than replacing batteries occasionally.
