Plz check the batteries of your wireless mouse. try reinserting them or may be you can try a new set of batteries.also try to reset the connection on your mouse by pressing the connect button under the mouse and on the reciever together and releasing both together

Re: wireless mouse quit working

I've had my Microsoft wireless notebook 3000 for two years. Very dependable, light, long battery life, no problems. But it stopped working 5 days ago after it fell from my computer desk. Pressed reset button, did not help. I was ready to buy another since it was sooo good to me. Yesterday found another reset button next to bar code on bottom of mouse. Pressed it and now its working again. Good Luck. Using Mac OS. Lost instruction manual.

SOURCE: my wireless mouse just quit working. keyboard

These are built very cheaply even though you pay good money for them they are designed and built at a minimal cost. I had problems with mine and finally threw it away and I am an electronics technician but it wasn't worth fixing. For what it is worth I have been using an MI wireless mouse for over a year now and it has been working fine other than replacing batteries occasionally.

mine is a green light and doesn't look like something you would
but it is.
then I pressed the mouse underneath it says connect

hi, does the usb port work with anything else? sounds like it does not, if you bought a new one and it still does not work. usb if this is a desktop buy a new pci usb card-if a notebook get a pcmcia or express card with usb, this has been a solution for me and others in the past. good luck, hope this helps you!

  • Unplug the receiver and replug the receiver
  • Ensure that you are using new set of batteries
  • If you have a connecting sequence, try performing it again
  • Check if the drivers are in place (Click Start > Run >Trype 'devmgmt.msc' without quotes. Hit enter)
