Lamp does not go to full brightness (by 2 users)

I suspect the lamp is defective. Where can I purchase a replacement lamp for the UMAX astra 2100U?

Hi,
I have the same problem. Took the top off and saw the problem..the lamp I take it is the long thin strip light....it is flashing and I can see that it has burnt out halfway across.

Is it worth ordering this part? Where can I order it from?
