How to know a Good battery

Equipments Needed
Foreign & Local Booster

Procedures to follow
Step 1: All good batteries are suppose to read 3.7 volts as inscribed on the battery body.
Step 2: When a battery is low with 0.0 volts and it's boosted with a booster, it will increase back to 3.7 volts.
Step 3: If you boost a low volt battery and it increases to maximum but immediately reduce to lowest after removing the booster, it means the battery is bad.
Step 4: If the battery has 1.0 volts or more and it cannot still power up a handset, it also means the battery is bad.
Step 5: You can also use a desktop to charge a battery that is low volted, but if it does not charge, use a boosted as a second option, if it still does not come up, then the battery is totally bad.

You can over charge and discharge a battery by dropping it in a cold water or interchange the polarity of the booster.
An over charged battery might not power a phone.

The power keeps turning off, the phone is fully charged. I turn the power on and 5 min.later the power is off and I don't receive calls.

How old is the phone? You might be falling into a case of a dead battery. Usually the life span of a good battery can last up to 2 years with good charging care. However, without proper care, chargeable batteries can die within a year. Try taking the battery out and plugging the phone in and seeing if that works. If it does. you may just have to buy a new battery.

I droped my phone on the floor and the battery fell out now it won't turn on. Please help

Try to confirm if the problem is from the phone or the battery. Get a similar phone to yours and try powering it with yuor battery. If it comes on, the your battery is ok.
If it doesnot, then the battery is faulty.
Before replacing the battery, you have to ascertain that the phone is in good condition.
Do this by powering it on with a good and working battery.
If it comes on, then like I said earlier, you would have to change the battery.
If it doesent, then both battery and phone is faulty.
Problem might be from the phones board.

It will not charge or turn on how do i fix this problem?

the problem should be from the battery. I think the battery is very flat that's why its not powering the smartphone. Also, the charger cannot charge the battery because its too flat.

Use a desktop charger to charge the battery. This weak revive/wake the battery cell that is weak.

Once the battery is strong, it will power up the phone.

Good luck.

I have a motorola v3xx cell phone that will not power on or charge. I charged the battery in a different phone, but it still would not power on. The phone has not been wet, nor been dropped. What is...

Sound like your phone is done for.
But try this first.
Remove the battery, remove the simm card. Wait 10 minutes.
I can assume the battery is good (as that's the #1 reasons for phone problems) Unless you can test the battery with a meter or use the battery in an identical phone don't assume its good.
Then replace the simm, put tha battery back in and give it a try.
Doesn't power up.?? Head on over to the phone store of your choice. Good luck.

Knowing a good battery starts with buying it from the battery maker's authorized dealer as the case may be because they will always sell the original battery to you.
But should in case you want to cross this below
1.All good batterty reads 3.7 volts as the case may be or as inscribed on the battery's body.
2. When the battery is very low or empty with the value of 0.0 volts, when boosted with a booster, it will increase to 3.6 volts as the case maybe or as inscribed on the battery's body.
3. Any time you boost a low volt battery and it boost to the maximum but immediately it reduce to lowest value, it then means that the battery is bad.

Please note an overcharged battery might not power on a phone

Phone was dead says battery charged...power off why wont it work

If the phone charges the battery as it is displayed on the screen when a charger is plugged in but does not power on, the power button/switch is faulty. Have it checked and replaced by a qualified technician.
If the phone doesn't charge the battery, the battery is probably drained or dead. To verify, grab a voltmeter and check the battery voltage. Set the selector knob to 10V DC. Voltage reading of less than 3 volts indicates the battery is drained or dead. Use a known good battery.
If the battery is good but the phone still does not turn on, it is dead and have it checked by a qualified technician.
