  • girlcore Mar 31, 2008

ive tried the controller that came with the game and the one that was store bought, syncing and changing the batteries doesnt work at all

but whenever the console is cut on and the screen that asks you to press A comes up

    the controller does not respond

when any buttons are pressed the lights at the bottom of the controller light up and blink and thats all

after awhile the screen goes to the wii home thingy but the control hand does not even appear.

I had this same problem. I read somewhere to unplug the Wii for a minute so that when you turn it back on the Wii will have to reload the bluetooth data from the firmware. Worked immediately.

Maybe the gyroscope is misaligned? Try giving it a gentle smack and see if it works then. If not contact Nintendo. You don't have to re sync your controller every time you put batteries in.

Throw your Wii in the trash where it belongs then go out and buy an XBOX 360 like you should have to begin with.

When I turn on WII it says ''press A to continue''ut nothing happens. I have changed the batteries in the remotes but they do not respond. I have checked the sensor is plugged in.

If you have more than one remote, you may have to "sync" the remotes to your Wii system.
1. Open the battery cover on your remote and press the red "SYNC" button. The lights on the remote should begin flashing.
2. Open the cover on SD Card slot on the console and press the "SYNC" button.
3. The lights on the remote should stop flashing after a few seconds. Your remote is now ready for use.
This process must be repeated for each new remote.

If you have multiple wii remotes, make sure the remote you are using is synced to your system. In case you are not sure how to do this:
1. Open the battery cover on the remote and press the red "SYNC" button. The lights on the remote should begin flashing.
2. Open the SD slot on the Wii system and press the "SYNC" button.
3. Once the lights on the remote stop flashing, the process is complete and you should be able to use your remote.
Remember, you have to go through this process with each new remote in order for it to work.

Wii remotes are not responding to anything. batteries have been changed and lights are flashing but

You need to synchronize them to your Wii. First turn on your Wii. Open the battery compartment on the back of your Wii-mote and the front SD Card door on the front of your Wii. There is a little round red SYNC button on the back of your Wii-mote and a red SYNC button on your Wii in that door. Press the button on the remote and then on the Wii and it should sync. If it doesn't work at first try again. You know it is synched when one of the four LED lights at the bottom of the Wii-mote is solid.

My Wii Remote Won't turn on!

1) Make sure there are good batteries in it.
2) Make sure that the batteries are in it correctly.

Otherwise, there should be no reason to get no blue light - even not being sync'd properly wouldn't result in no light. May have to fess up to Mom. :X

Wii remote

Greetings baggie bird,

You need to resynch your remote to your Wii console.

You hit the sync button under the battery cover on the remote, and then when the lights are flashing on the remote, you hit the sync button on the Wii. The synch button is located under the small cover to the left of the cd/dvd slot.

Thank you,

Dort
