The BlackBerry 8830 smart phone, and other BlackBerry phones, come with an application to record voice memos called "Voice Notes Recorder." From this application you can create, store and send voice memos directly from your phone. You do not need to upload the memo on the computer or send it through email (unless the recipient cannot receive multimedia messages).

Once you delete something from a phone it's very difficult to retrieve (next to impossible actually) but their may be hope if you backed up your phone to iTunes you can go into iTunes at the main screen where it displays your phone info there will be a button to restore your phone to a previous backup (you may have to restore your phone to get the restore backup option to appear) a full tutorial can be found at the iTunes support page under backup restore PS: hopefully you backed up your phone before you trimmed your memos the backups are time stamped
1. In Idle mode, press Menu ? Games & Apps ? Voice Recorder. 2. Press the Record soft key to begin recording. 3. Record a memo by speaking into the phone's microphone. The display simultaneously shows the elapsed time and the total time allowed. 4. Press the Stop soft key when you are finished recording.
When you lose your voice memos in your iPhone, they can have a look at your iTunes first, maybe you've synced the voice memos to iTunes, and the voice memos can be found in iTunes folder. If not, you may need to restore your iPhone with iTunes to recover deleted voice memos. If you have updated your iPhone backup in iTunes, you will save the voice memos in iTunes backup as well, so you are able to get the lost voice memos back with iTunes.
When the restoring process is done, you will get the backup contents in your iPhone. The voice memos should have been restored to your iPhone as well. However, as is known, there is chance that the iPhone users will lose the newly added data in their device if they haven't updated their backup. At this moment, you will need a piece of iPhone data recovery software to recover deleted voice memos from iPhone backup. http://www.leawo.org/tutorial/how-can-i-recover-deleted-voice-memos-from-iphone-6.html
That's actually supposed to be a picture of a tape. It's a memo.
Check your voice memos in the phone menu > Tools > Voice Services > Voice Memo > Play. If you have a memo recorded, you'll be presented with a list of dates and times. Otherwise the phone will pop up a message saying "No memo recorded".
