Question about Philips Magnavox 9P6034C 60" Rear Projection Television
I changed the blue canon coolant & turned it on . It was working but when I went to adjust the focus & flyback voltage it stopped & wont come back on.
I was reading your problem and it sounds like you may have overdriven one or more of your tubes with the "screen" voltages adjusts.
That could be the cause of your shutdown.
I`d like you to try something;
Unplug the set for 5 mins or so and in the mean time go to the focus/screens block and turn down completely the screens controls and pre-adjust the focus to about the half way point.
Now turn the set back on and(if it does) adjust the screens voltages one by one,
They shouldn`t have to be much higher than the halfway point again, next adjust your focus. Hope this will help
Let me know how it goes and do not accept or rate this suggestion until the problem is cleared.
