Question about Comtrend CT-520 Router
This ia a loaner as I am haveing with my gateway router, im not sure as to how to install it
any help would be appreciated
SOURCE: Router login
If your Comtrend CT-5621 came with the package from your ISP then it is possible that the username and password has been changed by your provider and you would have to get in touch with them.
In some instances the username is "root" and the password is "root".
Some known passwords from ISPs are:
Canadian Broadband/Aliant - RM60008
NetComm - NetC0mmV3oo
Some ISPs disabled/blocked the web based configuration interface and the initial way to communicate with it is a telnet session to the router.
Would you know if your default IP address of 10.0.0.1?
Good luck and kind regards.

Try this one Enter your username and password, By default both the username and password are admin. Click the Ok button to log in to your router.. If the default username and password wont work the next step here is to reset the router so it will be back to its default settings with the default username and password....
Don't forget to rate the solution FIXYA thank you...

SOURCE: I have a Comtrend ADSL2
hi welcome to fixya! when it comes to internet, ADSL2 + router has really a big factor when in-terms of connections, because it helps to boost more speed. But the problem is it has nothing to do with the downloads I mean if your looking for a faster downloads it needs a high-speed bandwidth connection meaning it depends on the service provider where you attached to. And they have many types of a high-speed connection like: 512kbps, 1mbps, T1, 3mbps and etc. Just select on this type of connection from your ADSL provider and they would love to teach you the right configuration to have a faster download.

To find out the WEP key, you will need to access the routerset up. Do you have any computer connected to the router Or any computer online using the same router ? If you do not have any computer online through the router then you will need to connect the computer to the router and access the routerset up. Once you access the router set up then you will be able to locate the WEP key. Click Here for step by step solutions
