No alot of sets have fuses that are white to begin with. Check it for continuity to see if its blown. If so radio shack should have a replacement.

I bought a 1995 volvo 850 tubo and the dash lights do not work What may be the problem

I have the same problem. I found out that the dimmer /rheostat is not working. If you know where the dimmer switch is located, take it out using a small screw driver. After taking it out you will see there are color coded wirings, brown for voltage supply, black for ground dimmer, white supply voltage with headlights, pink output voltage and white/black for grounds with headlights. I jumpered the brown wire to pink wire and put everything back.

My envisaion monitor only shows white light

There are two causes for white screen: The connector has worked loose, or the lcd panel 5 volt fuse has blown. 98% fuse blown is not repairable. Must replace the lcd panel.

Cant find fuse for headlights on 94 bravada

The 94 Bravada did not use a conventional fuse, instead uses a "fusible link" that comes directly from the starter post and supplied battery voltage to the headlight switch.
The fuse link looks like an ordinary wire with usually a short " white plastic sleeve" that appears to be part of the wire.
The blown fuse link will pull apart easily if it is blown.
Any other questions, let me know.

Microwave stopped working when i pushed the start button

Yes. The white inside the glass that you are describing is a blown fuse. To find out what size fuse it is look around the base or top of the fuse. You will see engraved something like "125V 5A. You can pick these up at Home Depot or Lowes in the electrical isle. You can also type and enter the word "fuse" and then the size it is. (125V 5A) If you have found this information at all helpfull, please rate my solution. Thanks D. Lange

No power!

The thermal fuse may be blown. The fuse is a white plastic item located behind the back cover on the blower box housing. It has two blue leads attached to it.
  1. Unplug the dryer.
  2. Remove the back cover.
  3. Identify the thermal fuse (white, two blue leads, one screw)
  4. Remove the two blue leads.
  5. Using a multimeter set to ohms, check the continuity of the fuse, it should "peg" the meter if the fuse is good, if the meter does not react, the fuse is blown.
  6. Remove and replace the fuse. Replacements can be found either online or at your nearest Sears.
