I have a kodak ESP-3 all in one printer that has a new black, and new color ink cartridge, and the printer does not print any colors. only prints black, grey, and a litte bit of greenish tint.

Inkjet printers do not like being left unused.
The color print head may be blocked. Try several deep cleaning of the print head to see if it can clear the blocked print nozzles.
If none of this works then the print head needs to be replaced.
A new cartridge will not solve this problem.
NOTE the print head is not a cheap item, you may consider putting the money towards a new and better printer.

Green hue

I am not a printer expert, but since none of them have jumped on your question, I will try to help. I had a similar problem with my Dell awhile back and found out it was a problem with the paper. First, try printing a picture using plain copy paper and see if it has the green hue. If not I would think the printer and program are ok. Make sure you are printing on the glossy side of the photo paper(some of it is hard to tell the difference) and that your printer preferences are set for the correct type of paper you are using. Please reply to let me know what you find.

My printer is won't print either of the magenta colors, so all my pictures are coming out in this greenish yellow hue. I have done everything I can think of including cleaning the print heads, checking...

Unfortunately, printers seem to have a short life to them.
We had to replace ours and buy new ink cartridges because
they make it to where you have to buy a different cartridge number for the same brand of printer.
How old is the printer? Base your decision on whether to replace it or not. If it is old, the best thing would be to replace it.

New black cartridge installed in MP780 Prints

This simply means that black ink is installed but not CHARGED properly. What you see in a color printing has actually no black color in it but a combination of the hues of blue and yellow and magenta; though it appears black or dark.

Now, use your printer's maintenance utility to do Head Cleaning. To do this, click Start => Settings => open your Printer and Faxes, then right click on your printer's name. Then click on Printing Preferences. Now in the window that opens, click the Maintenance tab and do Head Cleaning. (In some printers, maintenance is called Toolbox)

Not printing after color cartridge ran out - new black cartridge installed.

Yes, this printer has fixed printheads and must have ink in each color to prevent damage to the printheads. Even when printing black only each color is spit in the servicing area to keep the printhead unclogged.

What does a nozzle check pattern show? Are there any gaps in the pattern?

As a first port of call I would suggest you follow the instruction in my previous posts about under head cleaning. This can solve all kinds of issues with print quality and even if it does not sort your machine, you know that the head is clean and the nozzles are clear. Read this post

If that does not get you on the way, post the results of the nozzle check and we will see where to go from there.
