Question about Kenmore Washing Machines
There are a couple of way`s to enter a diagnostic. I`ll start with what I think is the easiest. Close the door, you don`t have to power up the unit, as long as it is plugged in is sufficient.
On the control panel choose one button with the exception of stop/cancel. Push and hold it for 4-5 sec. release for 4-5 sec. and repeat this sequence 3 times. If entered correctly all the led`s will light and the display will show 2 digit`s, usually ``00`` or ``U0`` something to that effect. It will display all the version`s of the individual control`s i.e. ccu, uib, mcu, etc.
With the same button you used to enter the diagnostic, you can step (or advance if you like) thru the test cycles until it exit`s the diagnostic at the end. If at anytime you wish to stop, press cancel.
Hope that answer`s your question. Good luck and thank`s for visiting fixya.
