Hello, I will try and guide you to find a solution to this noise. If you are willing and able, roll out this unit to excess the lower panel. Behind this will be the compressor, condenser, and condenser fan motor. Check to see if this fan and motor are the source of the noise. Maybe bearings, blade hitting the panel, something may have been sucked up in the fan making noise, ect.Clean the front of this coil while you are in there searching, to keep the pressures in the system at normal temperatures. You can use a brush to clean. I am confident you will find the source in this area, and resolve this noise. The unit is operating good? If so that is a good sign it is not a serious problem. Please keep me posted on what you have found and I will be here if you require my help. Sincerely,
Shastalaker7

how do you adjust the headlight beam on a xjr1300 naked 2002 bike, is it as simple as undoing the 2 bracket bolts at the sides of the lights and re-setting the lights to a new level ??
currently it seems to be set for riding with a pillion passanger or heavy load at the rear as the lights are set low, no one flashes me even if i ride at night with full beam on !

thanks xjr cambs

Water leaking and loud noise and rattling on final spin cycle

Turn the drum by hand and if you hear any noises it is the rear bearing. If there is no noise then remove the front bottom panel and take out the coin trap on the pump and check those hoses.

Making a rattling noise when i step on the gas.

several things could be wrong are you using 91 octane fuel or less? also it might be a timing issue you might be too far advanced in timing ... this causes preignition.. causing a rattle also cheaper fuel will do the same effect.. thanks Jerry holler if you need more.. also was the noise loud or just a mild noise ??

is your ac compressor located on the left side as well and also try your ac if its not blowing to cold the rattling could be your ac clutch on the compressor if that is you will have to get a new clutch kit from your local auto parts store to fix it

Raddle when go over bumps

If Jay's tips don't pan out, consider having your shocks checked since these can produce a loud rattle if the seals are blown.
A preliminary check can be made using the 'bounce' test. Pressing down and letting up on a fender several times in succession until the car is bobbing good. When you let go on a downstroke, the car should come up once, settle and move no more. If it kind of fades, with several shorter bounces, the shock is bad.
