Question about Singer 1507

Jamming brand new machine

I just bought this machine and after about 5 stitches, the bobbin thread bunches under the face plate and jams the machine. I've oiled and cleaned the machine, as well as tried using a different size needle but it keeps happening. Any pointers on how to fix?

The tension on the bobbin case needs to be adjusted to needle size and type of fabric the medium fabrics usually use a size 11, light fabrics need a size 9 and heavy like ( corduroy denim or upholstery fabric needs a 14 or 16 Heavy fabrics need a little less tension on the top side so it will feed properly just play with it until it looks good on a scrap of the same fabric

I have a janome 6600. The stitches started jamming up and breaking. What might be causing the challenge with the stitches?

Difficult to say without really seeing what's happening and which thread is breaking. If the top thread is breaking, check to make sure the thread is not wrapped around the spool pin or a thread guide.

Just some things to try:
Install a brand new needle.
Be sure to clean and remove all the thread pieces, lint, etc from under the needle plate, around the shuttle, etc. Oil as instructed in the owner's manual.
Remove all the thread from the machine. ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the top and rethread the machine from the beginning. Check that the thread path is correct and the bobbin is loaded and threaded correctly.

Be sure to use good quality thread--no Old or bargain bin threads!

Have a brand new Singer 1507 that keeps jamming the bobbin thread. Have followed threading and winding bobbin instructions closely, but am still having problems with the bobbin thread jamming after 1-2...

I would try adjusting the tension on the machine - this sometimes causes the bobbin thread to jam while sewing. Re thread the entire machine including the top thread. Also it is recommended to use new thread as old thread can ball up after time. If no luck I would call the store you purchased the machine from.

The thread jams in the bobbin well

Make sure that you are using the correct bobbins and you have put the bobbin the right way around, make sure that you have threaded the machine correctly, and the needle is around the right way, these are a few things you can check. These are just a few simple things that a lot of inexerience sewers could check before going to a technician.

Top thread wrapping around hook under needle plate then jamming

Could be the needle is the incorrect size or the thread is not compatible with the embroidery or both. :)
