Question about Brother SE-270D Computerized Sewing Machine
I have cleaned my machine several times. I changed the needle, I have taken the whole shuttle apart, tried to thread manually, and played around with the tension. It still does not work. I have noticed when the thread is self threading the needle it is not catching on the thread bar above the presser foot. I manually slipped it in there. The machine will go about 2 inches and then says to check the upper thread. When you take the material out the beginning stitch has sewn but nothing else. I have had my machine for about 14 months. Absolutely love it but this is very frustrating. I noticed others having different problems after having their machine a while. Is this a common problem?
Its common, but easy to fix,,,ok......first things first, 1. bobbin in bobbin case correctly 2. machine threaded correctly 3. tension set around 3-4 upper 4. when was the last time machine was serviced
