Question about Columbia All Sport Digital watch

1 Answer

Band won't stay on the watch

I bought the watch last month and the band has fallen off on one side twice now. Took it to Fossil; they said the holes weren't drilled correctly in the watch. Can I send it back for replacement? If so, what is the address? I'm assuming there wouldn't be a charge since this is a defect.

Yes, I wrote the company to find out the charge to replace the watch. Will check with local watch repair.

We have no control over whether this is covered under warranty or not, I really suggest u call them and discuss the matter 1st, but really the easiest thing to do is just take it to a w2atch repair shop and have them repair it, if u do send it back u will be witout the watch for up to 6 weeks. If u want to contact them here is the web site to do that.

I need a replacement band for a fossil watch number 741010; I see a number on the band of 7413500. Could you help me find a replacement band?

On the back of the watch should also be a 6 digit code consisting of 2 letters and 4 numbers. For instance CH3000.
With that code you should be ablte find your strap here: http://www.mastersintime.com/en/straps/

How do I set my Fossil watch? It has three dials on the face (looks like one for day of week, one for day of month (goes to 31) and one for seconds). Has only one pin on right side. Says !)ATM on face....

Fossil do not have a list of instructions under model numbers but issue a list of generic instructions which you have to wade through to find the one that suits your watch.

Go to http://www.fossil.com/en_US/shop/customer_care/static/fossil-Instructions.html and put your cursor over each of the ones listed in the Multifunction section until you reach the one that looks nearest yours and download the file.

Purchased fossil ladies watch am4183 at Macy's, stainless steel band is too big, is this band adjustable, if so how.

Check the sides of watch band and you will see the pin ends. They are holding all links together. If there are arrows inside the watch band, they are pointing the way the pins must come out.
To shorten the band you have to:
Extract the pins.
Take link(s) off.
Join the rest of band together and drive pins back.

Watch band adjustment for polo club watch

There are small holes at the side of some of the links. You need to push out the small needles or pins in these holes in the direction of the arrows that are marked on the links.

You can use a sewing needle to do that (a blunt one, or break the tip).

When the small pins are pushed out, the links can be detached.

Hope that helps

Trying to shorten the band on a fossil watch. removable links have arrows which point outward on both sides of the link.

You need a small, (smaller than the pin hole) punch to force the pins out of the band. Since the arrows point in both directions you can push from either direction. Push enough of the pin out to be able to grasp it with a pair of small pliers and remove it. Do that on both sides of the link, replace the extra with a small hammer and you're done.

I just bought a fossil watch ch2331 and need to remove a link. how do i do it?

Some of the links are removable on this watch & some are not. Look inside the band you should see some tiny arrows on the removeable links. You need to push the pin through in the direction of the arrows & remove the link. Then to put the band back together you need push the pin through in the opposite direction of the arrow. Make sure the widest part to the pin goes in last or it won't fit.

Need To Takeout a Link in Band

I know little about this watch, but generally there is an arrow on the inside of the band, you can use a small screwdriver to push on the side, or perhaps in a small hole on the inside of the band to force the link pin/s out in the direction of the arrow.
