I assume you are referring to RAM. If so go to the link I will post and click Scan My System. This will require a small download which is perfectly safe. They will scan your computer and tell you exactly what you have now, and what upgrades are available with the price. This is a legit safe site that I have used many times. They have fair prices with quality compatible memory. http://www.crucial.com/

Information about how to expand RAM in Acer Aspire 1403LC

Most RAM will work with each other, but the safest way to be sure is by checking the speed. On the stick that is in there now you should see a label that says something like PC2100 DDR. I looked up the specs of your computer and this RAM should work for it.

No memory card, do I need a card?

Your camera has 32MB of internal memory, so technically you do not need a memory card, but 32MB will not store many still images, let alone video. You really need something like this to go in it:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208293

That will give you 8192MB compared to the 32MB built in, and let you shoot a lot more video.

Good Luck!

Hey there, I have an Acer Aspire 7720. I checked in BIOS (v1.25) that only 8MB video memory is avaliable (out of 2GB), and couldn't change the settings. Could you help me solve the problem please?

dynamically allocated memory is borrowed from the system memory; ie, your GPU is using shared memory. Increasing the allocated VRAM is not going to increase your performance by much simply because this kind of video memory is so slow.

You might want to consider updating your graphics driver and checking your temps to make sure that the GPU isn't overheating.

More Ram for graphics

You can share the RAM for VGA max of 256 only for some motherboards. On BIOS select the AUTO instead of selecting 128MB share memory.

Good Day,

You are on the right page, the video memory(VRAM) is located directly on the video card, which means you have to replace the whole card. The good news is they are pretty easy to install. Make sure you check the spec of your card and get the right socket, AGP or PCI. When you look at the slot on your motherboard if the video card is plugged onto a brown slot it is AGP, if it is a white slot it is PCI.

Hope this help.
