You must use the Media Convertor software that came with the GoGear installation CD to convert all video files into a format that the GoGear recognizes. If you lost the CD or manual, go to the Philips website - they have both available for download. Under software and drivers, select "Media converter Software"; under documentation, click "User's Manauls"

you must run the converter that changes the format of the video for your gogear I have a SA6045 have converted full movies for it.

Hi, i have an similar problem to this one. I am having trouble converting mp3, wmwv, mpeg to my computer because my cd drive is broken and it cannot read the cd when i get it into the cd drive. Is there anyway you can out the direct download of the SA6045 converter On the net for me and others users to download because it is very difficult for me to convert wmv and jpeg files without the SA6045 Phillips GoGear converter

I have already tried what you have suggested here, and the software, even the downloaded version, is no longer working. I don't know what the problem is. I get a message that says i need WMP version 9 or higher. I have version 11. The Philips customer service was no help. There are no other problems that I can recognize with my PC. It really doesn't make sense. However, I am ready to throw this thing out the window.
