Question about Logitech G25 Racing Wheel

1 Answer

We would like to get an extension cable from the GearShifter to the Wheel. It needs to have the same size fittings and same size cable width. Logitech do not make one, we understand? Thank you.

Hello

Ok, obviously you will not be able to buy an origional Logitech cable since they don't manufacture it.

Thus, the best suggestion i can give you is to go to your nearest electronic hardware store and explain to them exactly what you need. With the exact specifications they will most likely be able to construct a cable for you themselves, which will be very cheap.

Otherwise, you can go to a couple of computer hardware stores and give them the same spesifications you need in the cable quallities.
You can even go to an electrition, and let him construct an extension using the origional cable.

Hope this can steer you in the right direction.

Kind regards
Andrea

Can I buy non vw winter rims for a 2018 alltrack ...

GO TO A GOOD RIM AND TYRE SPECIALIST.
There are set measurements when rims are fitted. As long as these match you can fit any make of rim.
Take your car details they will be able to suggest rims that will fit.
If you don't, things get complicated.
You will need to check the following.
-Number of wheel bolts/nuts. (4 or 5).
-wheel bolt/nut spacing. (Distance between opposite holes).
-Rim diameter.
-Rim width.
-Rim offset. (How far the rim sticks out of the wheel arch.
-Rim edge type.
-Tyre size.

Beside 225/50/16 what other size can fit a 2002 Mercury Cougar

Your best choice is to use the DiscountTire.com website and use the optional tools available. You can enter your vehicle and the site can be made to do alternate tire sizes.

There are some choices on the left side of the home screen and you can even find out the true road speed versus speedometer readings if you use an optional tire upgrade.

Now there are several ways to change things. Width and sidewall profile both contribute to Revolutions per mile. My Mercury car came with 60 Series tires, changing to a 65 Series of the same width gave me a 5% boost in fuel mileage with a corresponding speedometer error.

You do have some limits, wheel rim width will not work on extreme tire changes. Different width wheels would be needed. You have to consider clearance issues between the tire and frame of the car on turns. Both the inside edges of the tire must clear the frame.

The total tire height reflects 1/2 the distance change below and 1/2 the change above the wheel rim. So ride height would change and wheel opening clearance would change.

You have many choices of tire size. In sidewalls, they make 55, 60, and 65 Series tires. In width, 225,235,245 and P metric. Use the Discount Tire site, maybe the Tirerack site and work with the numbers.

Go to a Tire shop and have then pull a 50 Series, 55 Series, and 60 Series.tire in the same width. You will be able to see for yourself what the numbers mean.

I would feel comfortable saying an upgrade to a 55 Series would be no problem. You should have a Label on the doorjam to show tire sizes and inflation rates.

Please rate my info.

The shoes are a perfect fit length wise but seem to narrow if I buy the next size up or half size will this be better or will they be to long

Usually many shoes you can order to be wider or custom order them wider. If you buy the next size up then they will just be longer and still the same width. If the shoes don't fit width length then you will next to go to a site to buy them that ask for your shoes width too. You could check out zappos here, which has the select shoe width size.

My 1994 civic dx has an ex gage cluster and the speedometer is off by 10-15 mph how would I correct this and keep the gage cluster it says my tire size should be 175 70r13 but I have 185 60r14 which is the...

okay, lets go to basics...1/.175 is the width of the tyre.2/.70 is the profile(that is 70mm from the wheel rim to the road).3/.13 is the width of the wheel rim.
So,you have 185(wider tread)60 (lower profile)14"(bigger wheels).you need to fit 35 profile tyres to get close to the same rolling radius to correct the speedo, the ride will be harder and the tyres are much more expensive, alternatively fit 13" wheels/tyres.
70/13 radius is the same circumferance as 45/14(25mm thinner).
simply put,if you measure the original wheel, road to top of tyre, then measure the ones fitted you are an inch to tall or 3.1/2" more around (approximately)please leave feedback...ta
geoff.

Tire size on my vehicle 225/75/R16 that needs to be replaced. I have access to 235/70/R16, can I put these on?

225 is the width of tread
75 is the profile(thickness of tyre from the wheel to the road)
R is radial(you knew that)
16 is the wheel size it will fit
so ...1cm wider...5mm thinner...
your speedo will read faster by about 2mph...
fit em anyway...

Is there any problem with mounting a 24x1.75 tire on a 24x1.375 wheel? I am building a 3 wheel recumbent bike and the 3-speed geared hub I found is from a Huffy bike that had 1.375 tires and wheels. I...

Strictly speaking:

Typically, 24x1.375 (1-3/8") wheels are either 540mm ("E5") or 547mm ("S5") in diameter. (Yes, annoying as it is, 24 inches doesn't always mean 24 inches!)

If you're planning on fitting a 24x1.75 tire, make sure it is the proper diameter to fit the rim. Since the wheel was from a Huffy, it's probably an S5, or 547mm rim.

Practically speaking:
Any 24x1.75 tire will probably fit the rim. As long as the tire's bead seats on the rim, the 3/8" difference in width should not present any problems.

Good luck!

Looking for a different tire for Suzuki XL7 (2007). Currently has the factory tires Bridgestone 235/60-17 which are a strange size. Need to know if a Cooper CTS 245/65-17 will rub the wheel wells?? Any...

I do not know for certain whether the larger tires will fit; but here is how you can check.

The 235/60-17 Bridgestone Dueler H/T D684 II have a diameter of 28.3 inches, rim width of 7, section width of 9.3 and a tread width of 7.8. When compared to 245/65-17 Bridgestone Dueler H/T D684 II the diameter(29.5) is 1.2 inches larger and the section width(9.8) is 0.5 inch larger. The rim width and tread width are the same. You would need to check existing clearances and then compare to the additional size required to verify fitment.
The above data is from TireRack (see web address below)
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp?make=Bridgestone&model=Dueler+H%2FT+D684+II&tirePageLocQty=

Tire Rack carries 5 different tires from 3 brands(Bridgestone, BFG, and Kumho) in the 235/60-17 size at $66 to $119 each. I have bought many tires from them without a problem. They do not carry Cooper tires.
