Battery/Power Problem fuse change fix?

My AV320 doesn't charge at all now and I think I need to replace a tiny fuse on the face of the board with a safety resistor as other people have apparently had good luck with this fix. Question: how I do find the right safety resistor and it is difficult to replace? I've never used a soldering gun or opened a unit like this. Or are there services that do this sort of thing for a nominal fee? Thanks. :-)

Re: Battery/Power Problem fuse change fix?

Yes is a very cheap job to the tech becouse there are no trobleshooting charge,,, the resistors are a much variety of its class they comes in wattage varietys and in types, like wire wound or carbon film then ceramic type or open core ones your tech will know wich of them have to use and for acct as fuse most be a cheap low homs one maybe less than a dolar resistor here we chare $20.00 but I dont know who much is the diferense in your area,, in other hand you can spoil the equipment try to open it and thas could be expensive to repair the damage you made and the resistor sustitution...good luck and rate me..

I recently changed the battery in my Creative Zen vision :M 30gb - it charged fine, played and transfered data fine - now, 1 day later it will not turn on. When plugged into the computer the blue power...

Hi if your new batter had black label and named Cameron Sino on it that is your problem. They say these batteries will work in the vision M but they will not unless you change out the small circuit board that is attached to the battery itself with the one from your old battery. There is something wrong with the circuit board on the battery that will not allow the player to see and charge it. You can go to this link and get this battery and it will work for you. Even though the battery looked like it was charging fine when first installed in your playe it was only because the battery came with some power in it already but as you used it it was using power but not replacing it. If the battery tunrs out not to be the problem then your main board is most likely the issue

If you need any more help, parts or your player repaired you can go to my repair service web page and e-mial me, call me or contact me threw my Ebay user name at Thanks

My Ipod (ipod model number a1137) is no longer charging and as a result it has completely depleted its power reserve. I am not sure why this happening or why it will not charge any longer. Please assist...

Try charging it with an AC adapter.

If this doesn't work, it's likely that the battery is simply old. I think your model of iPod is a 1st gen Nano, in which case the battery has probably neared the end of its life.

See this page on how to get it replaced by Apple:

Or, if you think you've got the skills, you could try doing it yourself:

Flashing icons while charging... am I really charging?

If the iPod is showing the "Sad iPod face" icon, this means that the hard drive inside the iPod (located on the logic/circuit board) has died/failed and needs to be replaced. If you plan on replacing this part, you may also need to purchase and solder a new battery to the iPod logic board if you were to do it yourself.

Ipod not holding charge

you may need to have a new battery installed.
Take it to an ipod repair guy and they will install a battery for about 25.00 or so.
It's not an easy fix, the battery is the solder in type and is a very tiny magnifying glass kind of job.

Good luck

Screen just flashes on and off 'CREATIVE' when trying to start up

This is an issue with the power supply, believe it or not. I just resolved this for a friend by changing the power supply. An old nokia 5v power supply will make a good alternative if you don't have an OEM replacement.

30gb video has sad face and low battery and will not charge even

Don't just change the hard drive,Change the motorboard as well.Different generation ipods use different boards and the hard drive from one won't always just plug in and work.

Does not power on

The tiny LED where you plug the charger in should turn from red to blue when the LYRA is fully charged. If it stays red, I would have to say that you need a new battery. Search for an NP-120 or a D-L17 camera battery on the web. It will work as a replacement.

Battery life

battery is most likely at the end of its life.
You should replace the battery, that should fix the problem.

New batterys can be bought from ebay, I don't have a contact there.

If you need instructions on how to change the battery drop me a comment.

Good luck.

SanDisk, 2 GB Sansa mp3 player won't charge

I was having the same problem with my Sansa e250. My wife has the e200, and we didn't have any problems with that. I saw that someone on here suggested to lock the mp3 player with the tiny metal switch on top, so I did, and the battery charging icon on the bottom of the screen came on and stayed on, and the mp3 player worked. thanks!
Because of this I would suggest checking to see if it's locked or unlocked and then change it to charge it.
