Craftmans and mcculloch chainsaws have been sitting 2 years and will not start

Try cleaning or replacing the spark plug, try using a can of small engine starting fluid shot into the carburetor to get it going. If this doesn't work, the gas has probably evaporated and left the carburetor with a coating similar to shellac inside. I would suggest having a small engine repair shop clean/replace the carburetor. If you are able to do this yourself, you should be able to find great prices on parts at www.sepw.com

My chainsaw was working fine. I cut down a couple of trees. I stopped it and now it will not start. Can you flood a chainsaw. Any help would be appreciated. Tony

yes you can flood them, set the choke and pull the rope a few times, that should clear a flooded motor, if this doesn't correct it, the plug may be fouled, remove it , see if its wet with fuel,, blow it off and try again

Doesn't start has spark @ plug fuel @

try starting meaning pull the rope 6 times and then check the spark plug if its wet clean it or try a new plug, if its dry your not getting fuel in the cylinder which means carb problems. if you have a seringe or something to put some gas into the spark plug hole then install spark plug and try it. if it runs for a couple of seconds then you need to focus on the carb. only put a small amount of fuel in the plug hole if you try it otherwise youll be pulling on the rope for awhile before it will start. hope this helps.
