The battery and the memory card will not eject. Please advise.

What happened? did you drop the camera? did you let it unused for months and months? Can you open the battery chamber/memory card slot cover?
Can you move up the orange battery latch?
Is there any debris in the battery chamber or memory card slot?
did you push in the memory card, so it can jump out?
Please inform, perhaps I can help a little more.

Probably not a fixable one, but here goes. I

Hopefully you know by now that the message wanted you to push on the card to eject it. The pictures you want to retrieve...are they on the card or the internal memory? You can easily download from the card using a simple card reader. If you've ruined the mother board circuit on the camera, then you probably can't retrieve the pics from the internal memory. In retrospect, you should never use the internal memory on a camera. It's too small to be of any use and it usually causes no end of troubles.

I can't get the memory card to stay in the camera. The eject buttom pushes it out.

You haven't said which KM model you have. But on most of them one push on the eject button makes the eject button pop out in order to be ready to use on the second press which ejects the memory card. After pressing the button all the way in to eject the card, the button should latch back into the "parked" postion.

Before re-inserting the memory card make sure that the eject button is already in the parked position. If it isn't then you'll get the problem which you describe.

im no expert, but i would use a flashlight to look inside the memory card holder and see if anythings messed up, and maybe jiggle the eject button a bit, and just maybe the button doesnt come up again until you push in the memory card. give it a little push they arent too terribly delicate. but make sure you are putting in the right direction. hope this helps

Memory stick eject

well to record onto, switch the power button to "camera mode". this will let the camera know to record as well as take pictures onto the memory stik.

As for ejecting the memory stik, jus simply push it INWARD gently and it will spring OUTWARD toward you. to put it bac, do the opposite till the card locks into place

Yes I had the same problem, however, where is says "push to eject," it means to push the the memory card down and it will eject. You pushed down the latch for the plastic door cover. Try pushing something into the hole so the camera thinks the door is closed. I am still having trouble with mine. Hope this helps alittle.
