Either find input button, or channel av1 or av2 or use channel add/delete in the menu and go back from channel 2 and once it's there, add it.
Or you can turn the device on, use the autoprogram feature and the tv will add all available channels.

Use av on mikomi ctv 14440 without remote

You might try hitting the MENU button on the tv itself to see if you are able to select input / source that way. Some TVs also have the Aux Inputs selected by scrolling through the channels until you come to the aux inputs.

I am trying to hook my wii to my Onkyo receiver. The Plasma is a Pioneer and you can't hook the Wii directly to it. I have the yellow, white, red cable that comes with the Wii.

Hello Julie

Thank you for using Fixya!!

OK, this is actually very easy once you get the hang of it:

The Yellow, Red and white cable you have, is actually the Video(Yellow) and the 2 stereo Audio cables(Red and White).

Now, the Yellow wire goes into the video port on the gaming unit, and into the Video input port on the TV itself. This is usually The AV channel's port.

The white and Red cable goes into the audio port on the gaming console, and into the audio in or AUX port on the receiver.

This should do the trick, but you will need to remember the following:

Once you want to use the gaming device, you should set the TV on the AV channel, n=and the receiver on the AUX channel.

Feel free to let me know if yu need any further assistance.

Kind regards

Try running your game via av/hdmi - you will have to change settings on xbox so that it is comp.with the channel you are trying to play through.

We cant get the aux channel so we can watch a dvd or vhs

The "Game" or "AV" buttons on a remote usually switches the signal sources from antenna to RCA or AUX IN function. If you have lost your remote, there are many cheap remotes that have the AV or GAME button with the codes for your TV. These codes are normally in the little manual that comes with each remote so be carefule not to throw it away with the packaging. Hope that helps.

Tv works great, dvd is new , cant figure out the right hook up , dvd has 3 cables white yellow red

Red = right sound channel, white = left sound channel and yellow = video (picture) channel. if you have the connections matching these on the tv, then there should be an AV channel on the remote/tv control panel. Select this channel to view, if more than one AV channel on the tv, there will be a number next to the sockets you plugged into. Select the AV number and away you go.
If your tv doesn't have the correct sockets you can buy a converter to use the ariel socket on the tv.

How do i get to the aux channel on a Sansui TVM131AD

if your tv doesn't have an AV button either buy a all in 1 remote or a RF cable compatable with your game console and tune the tv manually as you would tune tv stations

Hitachi C28W440N can't switch over AV channels no remote

have you tried buying a universal remote? you can get a decent one for £10 these days from any electrical store, such as curry's or maplins. it gives you a 3 digit code for the tv to link up with the remote and then you can switch over to av. some hitachi tv's also link up to av automatically if you connect your game station via scart socket (in the back of the tv) if you turn the tv off and link your wii up to the back and make sure the power is turned on before the tv is switched on, there's a chance the tv will auto detect the av channel. not all do but it's worth a try. hope this helps!
