Question about HP Pavilion dv7-1245dx Notebook
My laptop speakers are working properly. I can hear all the system sounds, I can also play music from my hard drive library. The only time sound/audio cannot be heard is when I attempt to play online videos. I have downloaded the latest version of Adobe Flash Player and Shockwave. This problem just recently happened. Last week, I could hear sound just fine. I have checked all properties in the control panel for sound/audio. Everything checks out.
Online sounds is wrong redirected, it's typically a software whose blocking it. Try to retrieve every update you've done since it started.
You can still download online video and watched it later , free flv converter is a good working soft for that, but for messenger/yahoo/skype... you still have to check again all soft who are using online sounds and maybe uninstall...
