Question about AT&T BlackBerry Curve 8310 Cell Phone - Red

1 Answer

My 8310 shuts off at 80% battery power and has been for about two weeks. Also to turn it back on it must be hooked into a wall outlet. I had a problem with an incompatible battery sign showing up but the battery is the original on that came with the phone.

I would really recommend replacing the battery in the handset. Keep in mind retail stores usually are much more expensive than online ordering...

Wii work for 3 weeks will not turn on .

There is no light on the front, correct? No red, yellow or green?

Considering how often I see this problem, I'm amazed Nintendo didn't address it in their FAQ on the Wii. This is a common problem with the Wii. It happens almost every time there is a power surge or the power goes out, etc. Even if it's hooked up to a surge protector, this happens.

Power will come back on, but the Wii appears dead. It won't turn on, and the LED indicators won't light. If there was a power surge, or the power went out,etc...anything, this will happen. The problem is with the AC adapter,not the Wii itself.

You need to reset the AC adapter to get the Wii to work again. There is a circuit inside the AC adapter that needs to be reset. Unplug the AC adapter from the wall/surge protector outlet. Don't unlpug it from the Wii, it has to be at the outlet. You have to kill power to the adapter.

Unlpug it from the wall/surge protector outlet, and leave it unplugged for 5 or 10minutes. This will kill power to the AC adapter, and give the circuit time to reset. When you plug the adapter back into the outlet after 10 minutes, the red led on the front should be lit up.

My blckberry curve 8310 shut its self off and i can not turn it back on. the LED is blinking red

Try charging it for about ten minutes then turning it back on.

If this does not work, try a battery replacement.

It is something to do with the power though, whether with charging or with the battery.

1. UNPLUG power from TV at wall outlet.
2. Turn ON the TV (with no power cable plugged in).
3. Plug power cable back in (at wall outlet)
4. Turn ON TV (don't use remote this time).

Hope this works!

RCA D52W23 has shut off twice within the last week..

Try a power drain and monitor if the TV continues to do this or not:
1. Unplug the product's power cable so the device is not grounded to the house. 2. Press and HOLD the product's own power button for 1 minute to drain the capacitors. 3. Plug the product back into a wall outlet and try to turn it on.
Note: This procedure works with battery operated devices as well so remove the batteries and hold down it's power button.  Electricity can remain in capacitors and on circuit boards enough to prevent normal functionality. By clearing the residue electricity, your product will have a fresh start and many times this will resolve a buggy or non-responsive device that appears to be dead.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, it's possible the power supply is on it's last legs.

Computer shut down

The sparking has probably caused your circuit protection inside the AC adapter to turn off the current.
Also, when you are plugging an adapter in,,do not have it plugged into the wall power outlet when plugging into the laptop,,,plug into the laptop first and then plug into the wall.

Have power cord plugged into asus eee machine and wall outlet. light has been blinking all day. when asus eee gets unplugged it shuts off.

lets try this ---

* turn of your computer
* remove the plug from your computer.
* Remove the battery from your computer
* Let it sit for 3-5 minutes
* Replace the battery
* Plug your computer back in (Make sure the wall outlet is working as well, seems simple, but have seen it before)
* Let it sit for about 3-5 minutes
* Boot your computer
* go to
Start -> Control Panel -> Power Options -> Power Meter
Note the Total Battery Power Remaining

* Let your computer sit for 15-30 Minutes and see if the Total Battery Power Remaining has gone up.

If so problem solved

if not you may be time for a new battery.

Hp c7280 all-in-one printer will not shut off

I'm assuming your printer power button will not shut the printer off. You can unplug the power connector from behind the printer if it won't shut off via the power button or power switch.

Performing a power reset
  1. Press the On button to turn off the HP All-in-One.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the HP All-in-One.
  3. Unplug the power adapter from the wall outlet and wait for 30 seconds.
  4. Plug the power adapter back into the wall outlet.
  5. Plug the power cord to the back of the HP All-in-One.
  6. Press the On button to turn on the HP All-in-One.

Shuts off

It sounds like the battery is flat - I realise that you've probably already thought of this, and charged up the battery, however batteries have a finite life and number of charge cycles they can go through, and may appear to be fully charge (According to the charger, at any rate), but they are unable to hold any decent charge. My suggestion would be to head down to the local camera shop, and ask if you can try a new battery in-store.
