My 8130 blackberry pearl keeps losing the radio

My Blackberry 8130 pearl keeps losing the radio signal and I have to click the "manage connections" icon and turn the radio signal on again. Does anyone know how to correct this problem? I don't lose my bluetooth connection/signal.

My blackberry pearl keeps freezing up and its only 3months old

First, download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5

Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device.

Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues.

If the issue is still present, then it could be hardware related, and may need to be repaired or replaced. I would then suggest contacting your Provider for Hardware Support.

Blackberry Pearl Radio Issues

First check your settings (In device options make sure auto is off). If that doesn't work you may want to replace the operating system with the most current. You need a PC or laptop and the most recent versions of Blackberry Desktop manager and your phones software. There are instructions at www.blackberry.com/support search for KB03901

Radio keeps shutting off

When there is no signal around ur blackberry will shut off the radio instead of constantly searching for one which really kills battery power just make sure you arent in a real signal dead area and you should be fine to turn it back on just go to manage connections and click it back on,if this is not the problem then there might be some problem with ur phone.

RADIO KEEPS GOING OFF ON BLACKBERRY PEARL

This is acutaly a feature on the phone when there is no signal around it will shut off the radio instead of constantly searching for one which really kills battery power just make sure you arent in a real signal dead area and you should be fine to turn it back on just go to manage connections and click it back on. Now if this isn't exactly the problem you are having then it could be your phone or your network I would call up your network first though to see if they are having problems in your area.
