Where is pv-gs50 reset button?

When I turn on the video, it asks me to press reset button. I can't find it on the video camera. Where is it locate at?

The reset button is left of the casette by eject on mine.

My reset button blends in with the side of the camera, on the palm side, just to the right of the CARD MODE slider.

For the video you can use windows movie maker to grab the videos and if its hard drive you can directly connect them to your laptop through usb and copy past all the pictures to you internal hard drive

PV-GS50 uses CGR-DU07 battery, extended version CGA-DU14/DU21. My camers keeps on asking me to "press the reset switch" and reseting does not seems to fix any problem for me.

I found the fix. It's so easy.
Take out the battery
When it says hit the reset button, hit the reset button.
Turn the camera to off
Take out the battery
Wait 2 minutes
Put the battery back in.
Turn on the camera. It won't say reset anymore.

Can not download pictures from my NV-GS50 to my computer. Windows XP. Do you have a disk download for my computer to recognise the Panasonic NV-GS50.

I didn't see an NV-GS50 but I did find a PV-GS50. All Panasonic DV Camcorder in the US start with PV in model number.

hi we've had ou panasonic pv-gs50d-k mini dv camcorder for over 8.5 yrs and have never had a problem with it until now. we tried to record our sons xmas concert and it had a msg "set reset button" witch we tried with no success. after a few tries it then had a msg "get serviced". can you pls let us know if u have an idea as to what is going on and if it will be worth fixing? thanking you in advance for your immediate response. sincerely, paula
