My mitsubishi 48' wideacreen tv will not turn on.

Sure, two,two is short protection: One of the two pico fuses that protects the convergence circuit is blown----you will need to replace both chips (Need a exact model number to tell which) and the pico fuse that is blown.

Mitsu WS-65909 COMES ON AND TURN OFF IMMEDIATLY, ERROR CODE 2-2

Two blink code on this set means Usually one of the two pico fuses that protect the STK-393-110 CONVERGENCE IC is blown--the fuses will need to be tested and the chip and them replaced--

If you have enough skill I have step by step start to finish instructions for this repair in this set---set detects one of the voltages to the Chip is not there and shuts down instantly. I have photos of the chip, fuses and protect resistors this set uses also.

If you want the instructions for free give me a email and I will send them to you for free--if you are able to do this repair yourself you will save a lot of money--you can buy the chip on Ebay for about 14 dollars plus shipping and the same seller sells the pico fuses..............

If you want to attempt this give me a vote here--If you are not able to do it yourself I have suggestions for you about getting the set fixed--I have done hundreds of these sets!

Just reply to this post here.

Let me know what you want to do, I am here to help people

Just a thought, but check all of the pico fuses for a blown fuse. The pico fuses look like a small yellow resistor. Some Hitachi's are famous for having a blown hi-volt ceramic capacitor and a blown pico fuse.
I think the red led on is a short protect indicator, but I could be mistaken.

Mitsubish WS-819 Protective Shutdown. 2 blinks, pause, 2 blinks

Over 95% of the time a 2 - 2 blink code on that model is a convergence output problem. You need to replace both of the convergence output IC's and perhaps the pico fuses feeding them voltage. The pico fuses are F9A04 and F9A05. They are on the same board with the convergence outputs.

Mitsubishi wt-46809

the vertical deflection IC if defective will cause the protection circut not to let the tv power up ,it has a thermal protection circut as well
here is the vertical deflection IC # la78045
and here is a link for the NTE equivalent part and specifications and pin layout
http://www.nteinc.com/specs/7200to7299/pdf/nte7209.pdf WARNING if you heat up any component to long or with to hot of an iron you can dammage the component and or the thermal protection circut
but I believe you will also have to replace the flyback (high voltage transformer ) with wire giving to much voltage

What is the model number on your set, and can you describe double picture alittle more clearer? Is it actually two pictures or are their double outlines? Let me know.
