Question about Kenmore Washing Machines
Thanks for using FixYa. Please check if some small clothes or foreign objects have been stuck in the water pump. If so, please take them out and clean it. The Water Pump is mounted directly to the motor. Please remove the debris from the drain hoses and the drain. If it is clogged, clean it. If still the issue persists, then it seems that the drive motor has gone bad if it fails to start after the water is filled up to the required level. Also please check and reset the circuit breaker and check the fuse. Now close the door and press start/stop button and it will start to spin after the door is locked.
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
