Question about Reddy R60A Utility Heater

1 Answer

R60 reddy heater 55,000 btu

My heater wont lite warm or cold, you have to plug it in at least 30 times before it will finally start, then it will run fine . I'm guessing it is the pressure screw on the back needs adjusting.

    won't fire up

I looked at the manual and took apart the motor sanded a few parts, cleaned them back up put it all back together bought a pressure guage set the pressure, and now it runs better than it did the day I bought it. Its just to bad that I had to do all that when its only a year old. To every body else out there whose having problems just read your manual, it saved me alot of money as it will you to.

    Thanks, Jeff

In the same temperature range that is giving you trouble, run an ext cord (110v) from a known good household circuit and plug the heater into the cord. If the heater runs OK, then the inverter is your problem.
