It sounds to me that you have a Sim Lock issue or Network Lock issue. In this case the unlock code can be only retrieved from your network provider which is T-mobile. Kindly contact them, they will give you the unlock code.

if you have forgotten the security code then the only way is to get the firmware reinstalled. That is the problem with these codes. You end up deleting all the dat that you were wanting to protect.
While, if you want to remove the code then go to Tools->Phone->Security. And then select the option on phone lock. And remove the code from there.
