If you know that you have power and everything is ok otherwise than in the back of the tv there is a fuse. what it sounds like is that your fuse has blown. you will need to take the back of the tv off and look for the fuse and rep[lace it. please disconnect the power cord before attempting this....

My T.V won't turn on made by Hisense What advice can you give me for help? It's a 50 inch.

So you've pushed all buttons, checked connections, cables, input, output, electic socket, changed it to another electric socket etc and nothing?
If you are not a TV technician, your only option is to take it to a repair service

Tv turns off after approximately 5 hours

Possibly the switch near the lamp housing door, the plastic expands and the switch can switch intermittently, but could be related to lamp life, dust etc. Make sure it's well ventilated and vents are dust free, tape over that switch TEMPORARILY and see if it still happens Fixing Samsung DLP TV that keeps turning off

Only connection to the TV is the power cord and cable wire. I moved the TV and plugged it back sound !! Checked cable connection and electrical plug in.

Depending on the type of TV that it is, check your "menu" go to "audio" and look for "speakers" on/off or internal/external. if you still have an issue, post a reply with the make and model of the TV and I can pull the manual. Hope this helps.

Tv turned on for 3 sec. and then turns off

this is an easy one for me. you have bad capacitors on your power board. i have fixed this a few times and it isnt a big problem but it does need to be sent in or if you dont have a warranty and want to fix it yourself with a little know how you can reclaim your tv, but only if you are confident you know what you are doing

Was watching TV it shut off. I cannot get it back on. Cable is

Since it is a rear projection and the screen is black and there is no sound, I decided it was way past time for a new one. If I had to replace all 3 bulbs, it would be approx. what a new one would cost anyway.

I am shopping for a TV.

Lightening came in on the cable, is there a reset or a fuse in the electrical input?

Yes, however the pcb could be fried due to the high voltage, need to have it checked by an approved engineer and contact your insurance company if insured
Never take the back off the tv unless you have safety training, it can still have voltage inside even with the tv turned off

I have mitsubishi tv model wt-42315 about 8 months old and would not turn on with remote or manual no homing sound when connected to a different electrical outlet nothing the red lite on the front panel...

If your TV is less than a year old, I would suggest to call the manufacturers and ask them for an authorized repair center near you to fix it under warranty.
