Why does it run for 10 mins, then stops?

Loosen Gas cap and see if that helps. Many times the Gas tank Vent gets clogged. When engine runs, it creates a suction and starves the engine of gas.

If the engine was stored with gas in it, sometimes the Rubber seat in the carburetor deforms and wont let the gas flow into the Carb Bowl at a fast enough rate to keep up with the running engine. The bowl empties (after 9 minutes) and the engine quits. Takes a while for the bowl to refill (5 minutes).

Why won't it keep running?

some times gas tank vent gets clogged . Loosen gas cap and see if it stays running to verify clogged vent.

Ethanol gas can ruin the Seat or Needle valve in the carburetor. A result of that can be very slow flow of gas into the carb. So maybe you can run it for a while but then the Fuel bowl empties and engine dies. Wait a while and there is enough gas in Bowl to repeat running.

Snowblower won't start

"Gone thru Carburetor" Did you check the Needle valve Seat? The ethanol gas ruins the seat if they are made of rubber and the needle valve is all metal.
Does the Float actually move up and down as it's supposed to? sometimes the ethanol gas absorbs too much moisture and the needle valve or pivot point of the float rusts.

What causes snow blower to start then stall?

sounds lie the Carburetor needle valve is restricted so you are basically running out of gas. By the time you move around to start it again, a little gas filled the Carb Bowl again. Take the Bowl off the carb and if the Needle valve is all metal, check up where the needle valve goes to see if the Seat up there is cracked from being dried out by ethanol fuel. If the Seat is the rubber ind, it can be replaced for cheap.

Just installed a new carburetor on a Tecumseh Snow King 8 hp engine. Gas is getting to the carburetor but no gas is filling the bowl and engine won't start

Sounds like the carb needle valve is stuck closed. Try loosening the bolts holding the carb to the engine, then tapping the carb lightly with a hammer. If gas then flows to the carb, re-tighten the carb bolts evenly and not too tightly.

S 140 snow blower

It sounds like the float is stuck, or at least the needle valve controlled by the float is stuck open, therefore not stopping the flow of gas into the carbureator. Time to rebuild the carb.

Ran perfect last yr , gas was stale drained carb bowl and replaced gas it started up right away then cuople mins later it started blowing oil out of the oil over flow tube

Sounds like the Needle valve in the carburetor is stuck 'down' letting gas continually run from gas tank into carb. When the valve can't go up (Close) gas will run past the carburetor and into the crank case I bet your oil is full of gas. Check oil level see if it is overfull
