Question about LG Shine KE970 Cellular Phone
My little brother recently asked my daughter to accept bluetooth data from him, which she did. Whatever he sent allowed him to gain control of her phone - eg see text messages/contacts/make calls etc. The display now shows 'wireless off' where the network name would have been and she is unable to connect to any network. Can anyone help?
You need to have her phone reflashed to orginal status - not sure where he got it, but in europe bluetooth takeover programs are highly available to hackers.
it can be used in a malicious manner - and illegal

The problem appears when the USB connection is set to MASS STORAGE instead of DATA SERVICE and the USB cable is disconected without SAFELY REMOVE action from the computer.
