Question about LG Shine KE970 Cellular Phone

My brother is in big trouble...

My little brother recently asked my daughter to accept bluetooth data from him, which she did. Whatever he sent allowed him to gain control of her phone - eg see text messages/contacts/make calls etc. The display now shows 'wireless off' where the network name would have been and she is unable to connect to any network. Can anyone help?

You need to have her phone reflashed to orginal status - not sure where he got it, but in europe bluetooth takeover programs are highly available to hackers.

it can be used in a malicious manner - and illegal

Do a factory reset as you are either inputting the password incorrectly or your daughter has reset the passwords to hide whatever she is doing
factory reset returns the tablet to out of the box state all user data wiped
or ask your daughter for the passwords

Big Brother And Ndisuio.sys, A new Intner phenomenon.txt

Ndisuio.sys, a very mysterious system file is present in Windows XP and is a driver for wireless things such as wi-fi and bluetooth. However, there have been many issues with this downloading immense amounts of data and perhaps causing activity that is "big brother"ish

The fact that hardly any information on this file downloading data is available by Microsoft makes things quite suspicious about it. It has even been noted that it looked as if it was transferring data to major companies like Comcast, Road Runner, Time Warner, BTC and Verizon.

The good news is, it turns out this file duplicates data that is sent/received, so wherever you go, it will also transfer the data to that file but if does not leave the computer/network so it's not spyware. So it's not as much of a big brother situation then it looks like. It simply performs internal communication tasks and stands for NDIS user I/O, hence, NDISUIO. NDISUIO is also used as a driver by many developers as it makes certain wireless network tasks easier such as implementing it for 802.11x connections. Some firewalls also use it as it can get the data in order to filter it.

But duplicating this data can hog resources for no reason, so disabling it is the best thing to do. The data rate of this file's received data is huge, so that indicates that the data transfer is not over the Internet, but locally. So it's just a duplicate of network activity but because it's local everything transfers faster but uses more resources then casual internet usage as there's more data involved at a given time span of 1 second, for example.

To disable this file, go to control panel, administration tools, services, Wireless Zero Configuration, double click and disable it. This file is probably required to run if you use any linksys wireless devices.

Good luck!

How do I activate my Bluetooth to my phone trouble 92 ex blk

Tip & How-To about Miscellaneous
Pairing Bluetooth Devices Posters often ask "How do I pair my Bluetooth ???" Insert whatever device you have at the question marks.

Generally, you need to read the instructions for the camera, headset, speakers or whatever the Bluetooth device is.

Roughly speaking though.

Settings - Bluetooth - Search, on the Android, iPhone, Windows phone whatever.

With camera, speaker, headphones or whatever the Bluetooth device is, you have to press a button on that device to send out the signal. On my Bowers and Wilkins T6 Speakers, there is a button on the top with the Bluetooth symbol on it. This is the part people usually don't do and ask for advice, thinking it will do this automatically.

When the Android device recognises it, click Pair, and if it asks for a code, the Default is '0000', (four zeros, no quotes).

Bluetooth Method

  1. 1
Activate your phone's Bluetooth. If you're unsure about how to do this, look under Settings or Controls.
  2. 2
Purchase a Bluetooth adapter. If your computer does not have the hardware for a Bluetooth/Infrared this connection, then buy the adapter, sometimes called a 'dongle'. The common BT/I adapter plugs into a USB port. If you're on a budget, look for a used one online - they can be quite inexpensive. This adapter will have software for the connection process, which lets you transfer files from the computer to your phone, or vice versa.
    • Some computers, such as MacBooks, are already outfitted with Bluetooth devices, and won't require one of these cables. If you're unsure about whether or not your computer has this capability, search for the information online.
  3. 3
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on both your computer and your phone.
    • If you have a Mac, you can make sure your Bluetooth is on by clicking on the Bluetooth symbol on the right side of the upper toolbar. The symbol should be to the left of the Date and Time and should look like some triangles.
    • On a Vista, go to Control Panel -> Network and Internet Connection -> Bluetooth Devices.
  4. 4
Make sure you are standing within 30 feet of your computer. Bluetooth does not work more than 30 feet away.
  5. 5
On your phone, find the data you wish to transfer.
  6. 6
Go to the menu, and select Copy or Send.
  7. 7
    Choose the Bluetooth option.
  8. 8
Once you confirm that you want to enable Bluetooth, the Bluetooth menu in the phone will pop up automatically.
  9. 9
Select the "Look for Devices" option.
  10. 10
Select your device from the list that appears.
  11. 11
A request will be sent to your device asking for you to accept the sent picture.
  12. 12
Accept the request, and the data will be sent.

When another mobile sends me data, my mobile asks me to confirm the "accept" request, however when I click OK it says "operation failed"

The data that is being sent from the other phone may not be compatible with your phone. make sure of the format the file is being sent in and try again. also is it being sent by bluetooth? make sure that both devices are paired before sending this will secure the connection between both the phones.

I cant send data via bluetoorh to other phone... or receive data from other phone throught via bluetooth... cant detect other device after searching for other phone throught via bluetooth. Im using P990i...

When you are receiving the file, check whether you have checked the Visible to other option. And it will ask for the confirmation when you will be receiving the file from other phone whether to accept or not. While sending the phone to which you are sending data should accept the file you are sending.

Let me know if you have any comments.

My blackberry bold can not receive any data via bluetooth from another type of cellphone or bluetooth dongle, however it can transfer data via bluetooth to others, what's wrong ? I tried to search through...

I had the same exact problem wondering why in the world can I send but not receive?! I even turned off the firewall thinking it had something to do with it but it didn't. I did a bit of digging around on the internet and found a solution. I have a Pearl 8110 and I found this info for the storm and added some minor info in brackets. Just tried and it works ;)

Here you go:

1. Open the Media app.
2. Select a media type (e.g. Music)
3. Press Menu.
4. Select Receive Using Bluetooth.
5. Select Yes. (It will then ask you the location you want to save to but of course by default it will select the proper folder)
6. Select Save. (Transfer will begin

Not enough memory means your phone is too full of data IE. Pics, Themes, Contacts, Applications, Games etc...
The phone needs a certain amount of memory to function.
When sending files via Bluetooth, some useless files remain on your phone these have to be deleted manually.

Data full, delette data on Nokia N91

files sent by bluetooth go to the phones own memory. You have to move them to your memory card manually, you may have 2 copies of some files , 1 in memory and 1 on the card.
