Yes it could be, or a faulty / failing BCM or connection to it. You need an auto electrician and a pro grade scan tool computer, the $5 grand sort.

If there is nothing at all, you need an auto-electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to find out why.

Fans turn off when the set temperature is brought back down. Connect your pro grade scan tool computer and monitor the temperature and sensors and the ECM controlling it all..

Depending on the year make & model, nowadays the computer in in charge of the idle adjustments. Try to readjust it back to where it was & check the result. You may need an idle control valve, throttle positioning sensor, vacuum leak etc.

Should be easy it's located on the top of the transmission by the shift lever.

code 758 is 2-3 shift solenoid circuit. 1860 istorque converter clutch pulse width modulator solenoid circuit.
