Question about Maytag PAV2300 Top Load Washer
My washer is frozen and im wondering whats the best solution-- let it thaw fully be for trying to use it??? The hoses are thawed out from me using a space heater so , is it frozen inside?????
First off you want to try to avoid allowing the machine to freeze if at all possible. However you should most likely let it be for a while, at least 12 hours with the room at a good 70 degrees or higher if possible. If you cant make it that warm then just increase the amount of time you wait. Once thats done I would run it with hot water empty for a couple cycles just to make sure any ice has been removed. After that it should be good to go, unless the expanding water damaged the pump in which case you will see leaking beneath the machine. A new pump is generally inexpensive and easy to install yourself.
