Question about British Telecom Ativa BT25E/BT110 Bluetooth Wireless Headset Wireless Headset

1 Answer

There is a button on the bottom of the wireless mouse, what is this bottom for? This Ativa wireless mouse that I have been using on my lap top for more than a year just quit. I remember when I first bought it, to initialize it, I need to press the above mentioned button for a while until the red light on USB start blinking. I tried it now but the mouse still not working.

How do i connect my wireless mouse to the lap top

the mouse requires a usb adapter, which works like a 2 way radio to send and recieve the movement, location, and button signals from the mouse. Just plug in the wireless mouse adapter into an open usb jack, most of them don't even need software, they configure themselves automatically.

I bought my lap top with a wireless mouse. It worked fine until two days ago. It will not do anything now.

Replace or recharge the batteries, if rechargable. Try to reestablish communication between the USB stick and the mouse using the buttons provided on both devices (see instructions).
If this can't help there is a problem that can't be fixed for a reasonable price and you should buy another mouse.

Hi,
You don't require any software to install wireless mouse . Just connect the sensor in USB port and place new battery in mouse . In sensor there will be a button and in mouse also there will be a button . Synchronize both the device for some time by pressing the button , thats it mouse will work properly.

Hope this helps.

I haven't used a touchpad before. I haven't had a

There are lot of people who can't get used to the mouse or (touch pad as it is called) on the lap top. I know, I am one. I hate the touch pad. Easiest solution is to use a regular mouse with a USB connection. Or you can buy a wireless mouse. If you carry around a lap top, it becomes a must that you have a laptop case. So, a wireless mouse is not going to be a hindrance. Best option would be a wireless one. Buy one. Put the CD that comes with it in the drive. set up the receiver (just install the program that came in the CD. That is it.) Put battery in the mouse, and press a button (a small button called connect) at the bottom of the mouse. And you are all ready to go as usual. This connect thing is a one time operation. You need to repeat it only when you change the battery. I guess you will get used to the key board in a weeks time. If the touch pad start acting up, you can disable the touch pad, so that only your mouse will be active. I am not sure what icons you are referring to, but if they are on the key board, most keys of the laptop have multiple functions. They are kind of colour coded.Look closely on the Fn key. you may notice that it is a little gray. You will also notice other markings that are gray on the keyboard. This means when that key is pressed in combination with Fn it has a new function. For example, Fn and F6 will decrease the brightness of the screen. Fn and F7 increases. Fn and F8 will turn your wireless on or off. There a few other functions like that too.
